The Scott Speedster 10 is a lightweight and versatile endurance road bike that can take on all the challenges of the road for a great price. This version features a double butted aluminum frame that is light, agile, and durable. The aluminum is skillfully crafted into straight lines with custom shaping from practical flat tubes to tapered tubes. This all leads to a bike with a great ride feel that is easy to ride for miles. Despite its endurance categorization, this bike has great acceleration and can hit high speeds on any road. The Scott Speedster is where speed meets value and comfort.

The front of the Scott Speedster 10 features a carbon fiber fork. This keeps the bike lightweight and stiff at the front while providing reactive handling. It also includes internal cable routing for a clean cockpit and better aerodynamics. With Syncros components like the bar and stem combo, this version of the bike is more stylish and integrated than ever. This version of the Speedster is equipped with a Shimano 105 groupset for reliable mechanical 12-speed shifting at a great price. My only issue is as soon as I opened the box and pulled the spoon out, it was broken. The bottom stand is completely broken and barely stands up. So that’s disappointing. Otherwise, seems very nice.

Air gets trapped in the filter so it won’t fully steep

Filter doesn’t let air out. It’s weird about all these positive reviews bc I tried cold brewing tea two times overnight but the filter holes are so small that basically it traps a large air bubble inside with the tea leaves. The water was barely steeped. It was weird enough to the point where I thought there must be a clear film on the filter that I hadn’t removed. When I loosen the lid all do the air rushes out and it fills w water, but when you tighten the lid any air inside with your grounds/leaves is trapped and prevents steeping. I kept thinking it was me based on all of these positive reviews but I could not prevent the massive about of air from getting trapped in the filter. If they made the holes bigger (not too big to let grounds out but currently you could mistake it for plastic film) then it would’ve been perfect. Nice size and about what I’d drink in a day or so. Change the filter hole size to let air flow out and I’ll buy it back!
